How to WRITE-IN  a candidate that is not on the ballot:

To Vote for a candidate whose name is not printed on the ballot, Write or place the name of that candidate in the blank space provided and completely darken the oval or square next to the name. Do not cast a write-in vote for a candidate whose name is already printed on the ballot for that office.
Be careful not to write anywhere outside the space for write-in candidates. Marking your ballot outside the designated spaces or bubbles may spoil the ballot.

During the 2024 Presidential Primary in protest to the war in Gaza and in support of the Palestinian People, more than 100,000 votes for the uncommitted option on the Democratic ballot was counted, according to results reported by The Associated Press.
This record shows that when people are committed to a cause they will take the time write-in on their ballots making their voices heard. So on or before November 5 2024 via absentee, or 9 days early voting we are asking you to show Michelle NARD that you appreciate her dedication to Macomb County , Warren and Centerline by writing ✍️ in NARD on the section for Macomb County Commissioner District 12.

*Remember to fill in the bubble next to the name you wrote in*
